Payment

I have been running the client now for a couple of months, however, my "Earned" total has not changed at all in well over a month. I do have several contracts, I have also changed how much I charge a few times here and there, but ive not done anything major that I can think of that would have made me not earn any more coins.
My earned coins has been stuck at 124.58 S earned, with my totals of 1.9k to be earned continues to go up every day with the amount of contracts as well as storage used. There have been a couple of short instances where I had to restart the client or computer that the client runs on because the client would be hogging large amounts of ram, or chewing up a 100 Mbps network connection, however these were very short. Is anyone else having issues actually getting paid ?
I am currently charging about 140s per gig, however most of my first contracts should have been in the ball park of about 60s per gig.

You get paid after 12 weeks, if a contract terminates successfully.

I thought that contracts where 4 weeks ?

Contracts can be any duration if you use the API. I think what LjL refers to is the default period used by the GUI wallet. The default used to be 6 weeks, but I think it was increased in the 0.5.1 release.

I do believe the current default is 12 weeks, but while you can change the setting, I think that you will be ignored by standard renters if you change it to less than 12 weeks.

Not my experience. My default is 2 weeks, which seems to work just fine. I think there is a minimum period. Maybe @nemo or @taek could confirm what limits are in place.

The current code tries to form contracts with a duration of 60 days. Hosts
willshould reject these contracts if their MaxDuration is less than 60 days.
