Wallet won't open up after being synced...

I sent siacoins to my wallet while it was still syncing,it shows they are on the blockchain etc so I am hoping they are safe in my wallet.After the UI has synced at 100% I put in my seed and all it says is "Unlocking your wallet, this may take several minutes."So I thought fine this might take a while & it took several hours only for it to make me put in my seed password again.I am going onto my second day of not being able to get access to my wallet.Does anyone also have difficulty with getting access to their wallet?I'm not sure if this is a bug and will be updated in the next version or do I need to do something to fix this?Hopefully this is temporary as I really like this project. :)

Same type of problem here, very unstable wallet, sometimes not opening, sometimes not unlocking etc. I haven't sent my coins there yet, too much uncertainty

After reading this forum and reddit I'm not sure what is more risky. Keeping my coins at the exchange or risking a transfer to this wallet. I will try a small amount first and see how it goes.

What I'm doing for now is disipating my coins in several exchanges so it doesn't stay centralized.
Some of the websites that can handle siacoin: poloniex, cryptopia or yunbi.Yes try a very small amount and then, test your wallet several times. Then delete your wallet and try to recorver the seed and see how it works (for now recovering the seed hasn't been succesful for me, so I made a copy of the entire SIA-UI in %appdata% (or roaming) before doing anything).
Hope the instability gets settled for sia is very interesting.

@Tnargav I thought it would be safer keeping them in the wallet over the exchange.But now it feels like they are safer on the exchange and I hope I get to see my coins again when this is fixed.

@catelow What should i do? I got like 89000 SC in the limbo. I can't find the txid on sia explorer. I know it is the right wallet i send the coins to. Dunno what to do...

@corentin.f That's a good idea, I will test recovering too.
Hopefully with 1.2.2 there will be less issues. Still need to wait for the Poloniex to fix their side as they've stopped dep/wid at the moment so can't test it.

@catelow I keep all my coins in designated wallets, of course. Will be testing 1.2.2 after Poloniex fixes their issues.

Had the sia wallet installed and everything worked ok at first it synced and all of my coins were being shown, however there was no restore seed tab found in my sia wallet. So when i contacted sia tech they said to install the latest sia download which i did and everything opened up and even saw the restore seed tab , however i was unable to close this new sia wallet and ever since i have not been able to open it up, all i get is errors like no dll file found, eventhough the dll file is right above the sia ui file, also get errors like not compatible etc. So now i am at a loss as to how to be able to download a good sia wallet and get my coins back. I even tried to delete everything and re-install the sia wallet app. Can anyone suggest how the hell i can install a good sia wallet app and get my coins back?
