Miner / Storage Host in one

I have a newer Mac Mini with 1 Terabyte of HD space and I have a 2 TB external HD.

I was trying to find some information about how to setup it up as a file host.

and also if it is possible to have it as a miner of the network.

I am not overly worried about if i am making a profit on the power cost and cost of the hardware.

I would also like to write up an easy to use how to if I can pull all this information together.
