    I am getting a javascript error when I try to download the sia wallet for mac os x. I am running Sierra. I am worried about keeping my sia on exchange but I've also read about people losing sia while transferring, and wallet won't open. please help.

    Hi, i just downloaded the application to and i have the same issue.

    i solved the issue in mac by giving the application sudo permission.

    1. Right click on the Sia-UI and click on Show Package content
    2. Open the Contents folder then the MacOS folder and you'll find a executable file called Sia-UI
    3. Open terminal and type in "sudo FILEPATH-TO-THE-EXECUTABLE-FILE"
    4. Voila the application opens up

    It's not advisable to open Sia-UI using root permissions, you can avoid this error by dragging Sia-UI.app to /Applications instead. This will not be a problem in the next release.
