First off, i'm a rookie at all of this so have mercy lol

Downloaded the Siacoin wallet after a 5 day install. During that time I had a good chunk of Siacoin sent to my wallet and upon reading other topics in this forum, I see the Siacoin should have arrived when the install was complete.

The install is now complete, my siacoin is not in my wallet and now when I try to reopen the app a message comes up "The code execution cannot proceed because ffmpeg.dll was not found. Retinstalling the program may fix this problem"

I am NOT looking to reinstall and wait another 5 days lol... that stunk!

Anyone have any solutions? Is my Siacoin going to arrive? Help a rookie out!!

Any help much appreciated. I sent some SIA from Bittrex to wallet but it appears my wallet is not synced and the fixes I used here did not help. Appreciate any input. Are the coins lost or just waiting?

So i created a Sia wallet wrote down pass and seed.... I bought just under 10K coins and sent to wallet... it said 0% sync ... i decided to click lock wallet to see what it would do it then asked for password i put password in it didnt work, after browsing this forum i deleted the wallet thru %APPDATA%\Sia-UI\sia\ then re launched and it tried to load wallet from seed and it still wont work. Can someone please help me

Relatively new user/miner. Installed Sia-UI. Set up wallet & started synchronizing. Clicked "Receive Siacoin" to get address to start mining.

Mining underway for that ID, and I don't expect to see coin until payout. Another user was to transfer 20K coin to me, so I gave them same address I'm using for mining. Wallet fully synchronized (Block Height: 135190), but I am not seeing the transaction.

Clicking "Receive Siacoin" again gets different address with each click, so how can I confirm that the address I've been mining for, which I also gave for the 20K coin transaction, is properly associated with my wallet?

Deleting and downloading again did not help.

If the address is not visible in your address list, it is not your address...
There are extreme rare cases (with preconditions) an address is not restored after recreating wallet from seed.
But as I understand you have to operate 2 wallets created from one seed concurrently and do hosting and renting...
As you did not mention, I assume you didn't do that, so the only reason I imagine is- you mistype your address...

If you paste a link to the block explorer where you see that transaction as done, maybe someone could look into that.

Besides, with mining you do not help the community, you intend to earn coins. The only way to help Sia community and developers by mining would be mining for luxor.

The address IS my address. It's the same address I used for a previous transaction (my first) that actually made it to my wallet. There was no mistyping the address, it's the same script I use to start the miner. There is no manual input.

When I sync my wallet, only the first transaction of 1,002 coins is present (minus transaction fee).

The address is NOT present in the CLI, YET I received a deposit into my wallet using that very same address. I am 100% confident it's the first address that was ever assigned to my wallet.

I've tried the recovery tool, and it didn't help. Long story short, I've only had two payments (both from nanopool) sent to my wallet (same address). The first payment was received after a delay of a few days. The second payment is showing up as confirmed w/nanopool, AND it's showing up as a transaction in the Sia explorer. The balance on the explorer and the find feature with the recovery tool both show the correct balance. However, using Sia UI 1.3.0, only the first payment shows.

I've tried the recovery tool..I've tried removing the wallet/consensus and resyncing twice, and nothing has worked. Additionally, when I run the wallet addresses command the address that both payments were sent to does not exist.
