  @damoon hay mate, im new to the mining gig too.
  We're a bit late to the game but beter late then never, i think Sia's a good a coin to mine, just my opinion.
  I have 2 1080ti's getting 3200 Mh/s on one and around 2800 Mh/s on the other becuse the PSU is smaller i had to reduce power and under clock to get stable.
  Runing 1 card each on 2 PC's.
  You could start mining now on the PC you have, just download the marlin miner, replace the exsiting address with your own and booooom off to the moon.

  Im hoping that Sia releases more info on the new ASICS chips preorders start in 5 days.
  We really need more info.

  Thanks for the advice, I am now back up and running. I think my problem was not fully removing all traces of the Sia UI before reinstalling and attempting to recover my wallet.

  Yes, I deleted the folder, then quit Sia and rebooted. I ran several disk utilities programs and disk cleaners and rebooted again. I disabled the time machine local backups and rebooted. The space switched in-between sometimes from deletable to fully occupied, resulting in a slow system etc. Finally after doing the secureErase and disabling the time machine completely + rebooting the space was free.

  Not that I know of, and I'm also not aware of a way to name transactions.

  Remember that Sia is designed to share storage, not to act as a currency, therefore Storage functions come first, Currency convenience functions come second (if at all).

  It says File Contracts, meaning it's relating to your hosting activities. It's all good.

  @lcq92 I don't recall specifically if there is a way to change it. There is a config file you can check and see if you can edit the directory there.

  @skysurfer You'll need to wait for the wallet to finish syncing then wait for the next block. If it doesn't show up by then contact bittrex support. They may need to resubmit the transaction.

  @Sensibles The worker name can be anything you choose. You don't have to register it or anything. It won't hurt your mining.
