@moorsc0de haha Wtf i just tought it was some gui thing and you could check it somewhare atleast in chain or in the commad prompt.
The contract ticker is weird, seen it too, did just think it was a bug and it didnt update properly. Then a restart and it would go upp.
I have liquidated my wallet and I am still seeing the contract count go up- whch means someone is wasting SC on my host that is not offering any available space. This is non refundable as well. smh
host unreachable means that other hosts (renters) can not get through your defences and connect to your announced address..
You should announce the address your host is accessible at for the "outer space".
@kafi959 It isn't far fetched, new coins launch every day with million dollar crowd sales. Most of which are get rich quick schemes. With the presale of a forced hardware starting this week at a ridiculous price of 2500$ I'd say Siacoin is definitely leaning that way or at least could be perceived as leaning that way. Specially with only a 3 man dev team.
I personally believe that the world needs this project. Even though I completely disagree with the asic miner and its price I think SIACOIN has the potential to go from 400 million value to 400 billion. I may be a sucker but I'll be sticking around til at least the release of the new asic miners. Also HP is building hardware for SIACOIN so there must be something to it.
Its working fine now, I have 50 contracts. I opened my wallet last night to move some sc, and it took a while to confirm a bunch of transactions from when I set the allowance, so I think the problem was between keyboard and chair :)
It is safe to run more than one independent wallet on one external ip. You should just make sure your hosting node does not loose the ip forwarding in your router. I have set manually port forwarding to my hosting node. I even did not turn off UPnP, but as I see errors in the nonhosting nodes logfiles complaining about errors using UPnP, I know, the ports are forwarded to where they should.
The "wallet node" has only one function- syncing the blockchain to see the balance and transfer coins if needed. I don't care if it is reachable or not (it says it is, but i'm sure that is not true).
As a coin transfer between the two (wallet and hosting) nodes is really fast I assume everything is working as intended.
