  Oh ok I didn't realise you meant the AppData folder, I haven't got that I'm afraid; bugger!

  I guess I'll just have to cut my losses with Sia and go all in with Storj, once I reinstalled Storj it automatically found the correct folders and carried on like nothing had happened, it's a shame Sia isn't that forward thinking!

  Same thing happened to me today as well. I am mining as well as hosting 5tb with 1000 collateral. I have 14 contracts with 0 files uploaded and my computer has never been shut off since I started hosting. I put a small price for 13 week contracts to build my score. there are 3 withdrawals of 1000 as well as some other random smaller ones with one for 733 and those all add up to more than my balance before??? sounds like a glitch? I read about reinstalling the wallet and the balance should work out. I haven't received a payment for any mining yet as I just started for shits and giggles on my main GPU since I have the computer on hosting anyway. Also if I reinstall the wallet how will that affect my hosting and will I lose my collateral?? And there is still 2900 sc missing..

  Alright, then something must have gone wrong at exchange A. If the transaction is still not there after 20 days then it was never submitted to the network. Please contact the support team of the exchange about this issue.

  I had an idea regarding the issue of not being able to make the folder smaller, could anyone confirm that "accepting contracts" or actively sending/receiving data could be the cause? I'm desperate for help at this point with shrinking the size of the folder to accommodate a timely transfer, hopefully without the need for third party/work-around programs/tactics, the UI contains a function to do this i just cant figure out why it is having problems "migrating all sectors".

  @pinto92 All addresses you create will still work. When you click receive it is just creating another one to use. You can make as many as you want and still use the old ones.

  @DakotaPrairie I really doubt they'll do anything about these problems just yet. But for now I have released just today a web based wallet. EasySia.com. It is also unofficial but the copy and paste works just fine haha. Good luck.

  i have a w/d that has been pending since July 20 on polo. 3 tickets opened. I heard its bc of SIA. Its beautiful watching the value of SIA collapse while my coins are frozen bc of broken tech. thanks guys

  As I understand you have either not initialized the wallet at all or you did not write down the seed. Thus you have no coins in the wallet.
  The seed is the password if you did not explicitly set a custom one.
  Anyway, assumed you don't have any SC in your wallet, you can just type wallet init --force to create a fresh new wallet.
  Just don't forget to copy and paste the generated seed into your safe/encrypted storage.

  No. The transaction you see in your wallet is not one you think is your one of the two you mentioned.
  The block height is different. And so are the contents.

  This one is that you see in your wallet
  And your address on which you received would be then this one

  The question is at what time the address to which you mine was changed...
  Could it be you created a new wallet, grabbed the address and after that restored your old wallet from seed?

  mine are happening (same amount) at the rate of one or two an hour . This represents a fraction of a fraction of a cent...but I still don't get how this could have to do with collateral. Doesn't seem like it will ever get there.

  Thanks I wrote in renter allowance cancel and it did what I wanted.
  It canceled all contracts.

  I'm annoyed that I initially allocated 222,000 sia. I tried uploading a few files then a week late removed them all. I haven't had any files on the system for most of the 5 months since it has been in there. Now that it has cancelled I'm left with 40667 SiaCoins.

  What are all these extra transactions that I have spent all my coins? I've not used the system in any way. I see that all my Recent Transactions tab is full of outgoing payments. What are these for? If no one is hosting my files why am I consistently paying out? I've been waiting for it to cancel on its own this entire time. If I had known about this renter allowance cancel I would have cancelled this ages ago.

  Any extra information will be helpful. Is my other Sia now lost forever?

  nope... The renter holds the private key. The files are encrypted. It is the renters only.
  However if you look at the road map for SIA a coming versino is speaking about makkin simple file sharing available. In the first place to other ISA users...

  Wait until it's fully synchronized. Your wallet will only know its balance after it's synchronized until the block where the transaction happened, which is almost 100% synchronized.
