  I'm not aware of that, and wouldn't be surprised if that was very low on the priority list of the devs, since the main objective is to make it usable as a storage token, not as an investment vehicle.

  @sytd3h5 Not true.. the block chain that you have already downloaded remainson the native CPU.. and so it is not required to download all 4 GB again... just the portion of the blockchain that has grown since the SIA-UI was off.

  Also, budgeting will become easier as the market grows & stabilizes. If the team's projections about participant motivation & storage pricing come true, then putting data on Sia will only ever get cheaper ("race to the bottom").

  We see constant price reductions hold true on the pricing front for Amazon as the largest storage provider, so it sounds reasonable, IMHO.

  @Sage I'm not aware of any official or unofficial tools to improve the security of the wallet beyond the built-in encryption.

  Your best bet likely is old fashioned manual cold storage, where you store the wallet seed on an offline device (paper, or electronically such as password file on a USB stick), and only use it to recreate the wallet when you need it again.

  If Sia becomes popular enough there may be alternative wallets or solutions that facilitate the process, just like for BTC or ETH.

  I have used ShapeShift to get SIA from BTC...
  I spoke to their support and SIA is down for maintenance... It will come back they say but no time to fix.

  Any other prodiction. Normally in http://www.altcoinforecast.com/siacoin written that it see 1274 till this year end. I know that this is not a referrence but looking to community I can say that it can be.
  Also Sia developers should hire new devs and marketing manager to gain a better market cap.

  Interesting question. I always thought that sia development is paid by SiaFund (https://siawiki.tech/wallet/siafund). Possible that some/many sia dev's mine for them self.

  @wadelyyy As I know, the problem is already fixed by Sia, we're just waiting for Polo, but they are extremely overloaded. So it would be nice if Sia hurry them up, or at least, try to retrieve the ETA from them )

  ok thank you for the answer, two more questions, when i make changes in the contracts for example collateral or disk space, the changes doesnt update on siapulse.com, should i re-announce ?

  And I just started my host with 1TB, if i increase it lets say to 10TB a month later (same static IP etc.) do i keep the same rating i built all this month or i start over?

  p.s one more question i just thought, is the ranking tied to the wallet seed? i mean if i change ip/pc of the host, i keep my rating?

  @siarunner Couldnt agree more, they are making more than a million a day in income and they cant afford $1000 a day to pay a few people to respond to tickets with some basic acknowledgement and update. They deserve to have the crap sued out of them and I may be just one of the many to do it as they have lost 300,000SC of mine and havent bothered to respond once in 7 days to my ticket and when asking details about ticket queue in the troll box I just get ban hammered. At this point, Polo deserves to fail or at minimum fall to second or 5th place among exchanges, its time another exchange had their day, polo has failed. I do wish a SIA representative would step up and say something because if this is a SIA issue and I sue Polo, they will just turn around and sue SIA which wont help the other SIA in my wallet but at this point, if the problem is polo, they are doing more and more damage to sia value the longer this goes on.

  I'm having this issue also on windows 10. It seemed fine until the update a few days ago. Now when I open sia, it syncs, seems connectable and I think everything is fine. A few minutes later, it's unreachable. Ports are open.
