  I'm unsure of how the compression would effect the consensus Hopefully someone with a deeper understanding of the consensus file can provide an answer to this.

  This is actually a really interesting idea... if the team was able to actually run the consensus from a compressed file. It would speed up distribution more.

  If shared via a torrent, i would run it DHT only and setup a secured magnet link or download link on the Sia.tech website.

  Overall, A+ idea!

  You shouldn't have to worry about your mining payout. It will be added to your address on the blockchain and wont be lost.

  You can simply uninstall Sia_UI and reinstall. Then recover the wallet from your seed. You could do this on another PC if you wish also. Just dont run both instances of the same wallet at the same time.

  I send coins from poloniex to my wallet > no coins, since yesterday the Sia app is Loading... at first all seemed to work right but now it's loading for 10 hours? what can i do? pls help! @taek

  Ya I'm not sure why there is so much difference in people's blockchain download/sync times. It took me around 6 hours the first time around block 132000.

  @mistertp Block times are really high. I'd wait like 24 hours before checking it. You can also install your wallet on the web wallet in my signature.

  Not sure I understand what you're trying to achieve with storing the wallet on both pendrive and HDD?

  I don't think the wallet file changes from 1.3.0 to 1.3.1, but even if - these changes would also be done at a later time.
