Active contract despite no storage folder?

I've had the storage folder error as described here: https://forum.sia.tech/topic/226/sia-1-0-add-storage-folder-error but I selected "Accepting Contracts" while trying to resolve the issue (I have since turned it off). Sia-UI is showing 1 active contract but if I run "renter contracts" in the terminal it says "no contracts have been formed". However my wallet shows several transactions which must be related to this contract. Must admit I'm a bit of a novice in this area so would really appreciate some advice as to how I should solve the storage folder error without causing problems with the contract that is apparently active. Thanks in advance!
