    When I run my GUI I am getting this Error window after a while (some time between 10s and severall minutes).

    It says "Sia-UI Files Error" connect ECONNREFUSED 127.0.0.1:9980, if I click okay the message shows up again...

    I think you probably have two instances running

    This usually happens if siad died in the background, or if you changed your siad api port and didn't let the ui know. What happens if you run the consensus command in the Terminal plugin? Does it say it cannot connect to the daemon?
