    Hi,

    I just started to host Sia, I could offer about 15TB located on a RAID 5. Would it be better to create one big directory for instance 1x 15 TB or split it in smaller pieces like 15 x 1TB?

    Keep the file size at a level that will allow you to manage them with reasonable effort through all scenarios, including backup/restore/BCM/moving servers/moving storage/etc.

    Having said all that - you can always change the file size later, up or down. So it doesn't really matter for now!

    I keep mine at 4TB.
