SIA-UI: 'Host Unreachable'

Hi all,

I'm trying to get things up and running but getting nowhere fast here unfortunately.

Whilst I have SiaCoin in my wallet, uploaded a couple of files and have set a storage folder (with price, cost, collateral & duration details), I can't get past the 'Host Unreachable' message.

I'm on a newish Macbook and when I click 'Announce' , I've got [correct IP]:9982.

What am I doing wrong here? I don't class myself as technically unaware but I'm struggling to work out how to actually get things working here so I'm guessing a few other people might have had the same issues?

You need to open port 9981 and 9982 on your router. Instructions for every router differs so I cannot guide you, you need to do your own research on this. I do not recommend hosting on a laptop as you need to meet certain uptime (98% uptime? not too sure) or you lost your SC as collateral.
