How do you upgrade?

When you upgrade to the new wallet, do you just delete the old one? What's the best way to do it?

1. Quit the old sia-ui completely
2. Download the new wallet from https://sia.tech
3. Extract the downloaded file
4. Run the Sia-UI in the newly extracted file

I did this and got an error and now I cant get my wallet to work.

As long as I have my Seed and password will I always be able to get my coins or is there a chance they are gone?

Do you delete your old wallet and does it matter what directory it's in?

No i did not delete anything. It does not matter where you extract the new sia-ui

Thanks. I got the new wallet and it says it's synching but it's not doing anything.

@SandBlock If I had a working wallet on my computer, not backed up, and my computer crashed, would I be able to retrieve my coins?

You can restore your wallet on another computer if you have the seed.
