Can't unlock wallet, and can't create new one in order to use my seed

I'm on a Mac and can't unlock my wallet. There's no option to create a "new" one - which is what I need to do before I used my seed.
Should I just uninstall SIA, then install fresh, make a new wallet, and THEN use my old seed? Is that correct?

@sialuvr delete your wallet file. I'm not sure where it is in mac.

**reference to terminal is within the SIA app' not Mac/Unix terminal.
