  I've experienced similar cases root cause being json files corruption making the link between the client and the files in your foldes disappear... If these json files corrupt and you do not have a back up the data is "lost" even it is physically present on your drive..
  look in the forum for this topid and you will learn that the client is still a very vulnerable piece of software, making it highly experimantal

  @reinisp : thanx for the tip... I think the one is a working copy of the other,. So when you client is running the contractmanager.json becomes the new contractmanager.json_temp, meaning that after the first iteration the latest usable version is replaced. I deleted the contractmanager.json to get the client running, so the contractmanager.json_temp. would now be it's evil twin not containing the neede link to my files/folders, but I'll have anohter look :-) ..

  I Too transfered coins to my Sia windows program wallet and never received em, stuck "Sync-ing" at 30,078 for 3 days now...wtf? thousands of sia coins now lost? Can you please reimburse me?

  unfortunately I am not getting a coin from hosting as I haven't set it up to be operating safe and stable. And I doubt 5KS is really a competitive price now.

  regarding password I can't help. That's a question to the developers.
  Are the wallet passwords stored on the blockchain? I mean will the once set password persist after wallet recreation from seed?

  @btctrading7 SiaDrive could probably do that. It mounts Sia like a network drive and you could operate based on that. But it might cost you a lot in bandwidth.

  I found one answer

  Sia cofounder David Vorick tells Ars that most Sia users currently use a redundancy factor of three—meaning that three bits are stored for each bit of the underlying data. But Vorick argues that customers will eventually be able to do much better, achieving very high reliability with a redundancy factor as low as 1.5. For example, a particular file might be split into 60 pieces and stored with 60 different hosts. The customer would be able to recover the file so long as at least 40 of those 60 hosts remain online.

  @roelanddejong Try deleting your wallet file. it should be in users/username/appdata/roaming/sia/wallet. Make sure you save your seed so you can recover your wallet after.

  @addaeus You will have to continue to submit tickets until you receive your tx. There is nothing that Sia can do about it.

  @tjalemao I'm not familiar with mac but you need to delete the wallet file to start over. Another forum post says that ~/Library/Application Support/Sia-UI/sia/wallet is the location of the wallet file. Hope this helps. Alternatively if you only need the wallet function you can try my unofficial web wallet at the bottom of my signature.
